War Child is an independent and impartial, international and non -governmental organization which has been registered in the Occupied Palestinian territories since 2011. War Child invests in order to secure a better future for children affected by armed conflict. The organization supports all children regardless of their religion, race, social status or gender. The basic premise of our work is the United Nations Convention on the Rights of the Child, and our primary role is providing protection and psycho-social support for children and training youth leaders on the concepts of development and child protection.

the project name is “Advancing the Rights of Vulnerable Palestinian Women and Children in East Jerusalem” ENPI/2013/323-493” funded by the European Union and implemented in partnership with the Heinrich-Böll-Stiftung.
The overall objective is to contribute to enhancing the human rights of vulnerable women, children and youth of occupied East and improve social, psychosocial, economic and cultural opportunities and well-being for vulnerable children, youth and women in occupied East Jerusalem. The target group of this project is the children and youth, with a special focus on girls and women at risk of suffering from gender based violence, female entrepreneurs, children with disabilities, small scale CBOs and NGOs working with women and children in East Jerusalem.
The project activities are about implementing the international guidelines for the IDEAl and BIG DEAL for our children and youth age 9-13 years,14-18 years accordingly, supporting summer camp and initiatives done by our youth
