This program aims to improve children’s creative abilities, develop their life skills and promote national affiliation concepts. It targets children aged 6-17 either by forming an after school group at the Center or by conducting CL classes in neighboring schools through our outreach program. Besides, the program targets the children’s parents and teachers for they have a vital role in shaping the child’s personality. CL started in 2004 and is still being implemented with the generous fund from Diakonia. The program team use non-conventional methods such as drama, painting and storytelling in applying the activities. Al- Saraya Center extends its gratitude to Diakonia for supporting the program all these years, thus enabling us to feel the impact on our children.
